Full Description

A probable 18th century post mill is depicted in this location to the south of Swinstead, on the 1st edition 1" Ordnance Survey map. It is depicted on the 1st edition 6" Ordnance Survey County Series map, but does not appear on the 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey County Series map, suggesting it went out of use and was demolished in about 1900. {1}{2}{3}
