Full Description

A single, redeposited sherd of medieval pottery was recovered in August 1997, during archaeological monitoring of new residential development on land to the west of Main Street, Grayingham. The sherd was recovered from subsoil deposits, and was an abraded fragment from a 12th century Local Early Medieval Shelly Ware cookng vessel. {1}{2}
