Full Description

An earthwork survey {1}{2} and a geophysical survey {3} undertaken in October 2021 recorded several areas of earthworks. Four linear features, an oval depression which may represent a ditch terminus, a pond, a mound, and a possible building platform were noted. An area of ridge and furrow was also recorded, although LIDAR data suggests the extent is larger {4}. There appears to be at least two phases of activity on the site as some of the linear features, possible boundaries, respect the ridge and furrow, while other features do not.
