Full Description

Three undated linear features were recorded during trial trenching in December 2023. One of the features truncates another, but none of the three contained any dateable evidence. It was noted by the excavators that the features seem to pre-date the medieval ploughsoil on the site, and one ditch may have been truncated by ridge and furrow suggesting a medieval or earlier date. {1}{2}
