Full Description
An area of black silty clay with frequent inclusions of brick and modern material including plastic was recovered during monitoring at Church Road, South Kelsey. None of the material was retained. Although no footings or foundations were recorded it was noted that the debris and silty clay was in the same location as a building visible in 19th to 21st century Ordnance Survey mapping. This suggests a building of possible 19th century date was demolished at some point after the 1950s. {1}{2}{3}
