Full Description

A concrete building footing and its associated cut were identified during trial trenching at Alford Manor Museum, Alford. While the building itself was considered of probable 20th century date, it is notable as it was recorded as cutting probable medieval archaeology. The orientation of the footing appears to respect the existing site boundary, but does not relate to the existing or previous structure visible in modern mapping. {1}{2}
