Full Description
A sub-rectangular banked and ditched enclosure is visible in LIDAR data within Osgodby Coppice, east of Bitchfield. The enclosure appears to have an east facing entrance. {1}
The coppice itself is ancient semi-natural woodland, and so dates to at least 1600. {2}
The purpose and date of the enclosure are unclear, but given the status of the coppice as Ancient Woodland it is possible it represents a woodland feature.
