Full Description
A buried rubble deposit to the west of the ruins of Crowland Abbey. The deposit comprised limestone rubble with fragments of mortar, and was found in the vicinity of an area known as St Guthlac's cell. This area was previously excavated in 1908, and the rubble may have been disturbed during excavation. {1}{2}
