A gully and two pits were recorded during trial trenching South of Barkwith House, Torrington Lane, East Barkwith. No firm dating evidence was recorded, although brick fragments present in the fill of one of the pits suggests a post-medieval date.

Full Description

A gully and two pits were recorded during trial trenching South of Barkwith House, Torrington Lane, East Barkwith. A levelling layer was present throughout the trench. No firm dating evidence was recorded, although fragments of handmade, slop-moulded brick present in the fill of one of the pits suggests an early post-medieval date for that deposit. {1}{2}
