Full Description
Two trial trenches at The Brambles, Main Street, recorded two furrows, a ditch, a pit, and a possible post hole. The two linear features identified as furrows are on the same approximate east to west alignment, while the ditch is larger and is on a northwest to southeast alignment. Dating evidence was limited to three sherds of 13th century pottery. {1}{2}
