Full Description
During geophysical survey in September 2012, a number of linear and area anomalies were encountered on land adjacent to Coddington's Yard, Croft. The areas of response may represent either pits or areas of burnt material, either in situ or redeposited. These features appeared to be truncated by a broad palaeochannel, and were interpreted as possibly relating to salt production. {1}
