Full Description
A brick lined well 1.1m indiameter and 4.5m deep was identified in house footings during archaeological monitoring at Land off Church View, Claypole. The well had been capped with frogged LBC Phorpres bricks and a metal frame, and was considered to be of probably 19th century date. {1}
