Full Description

Lincoln Lane Farm, Sixhills. Redeveloped Medieval farmstead. Regular courtyard of E plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. Located within or in association with a village. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {1} The buildings forming the working component of the farmstead, depicted on the 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps of Sixhills, appear to have been demolished in the 20th century and replaced by a large modern barn. {2}{3}{4} The post-Medieval farmstead complex was built to serve the 15th century timber framed farmhouse known as 'The Nunnery' (MLI96548).
