Full Description

Lincoln Lane Farm, Sixhills. Former medieval farmstead redeveloped in the 19th century to a regular courtyard of E plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. Located within or in association with a village. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {1} The farmstead complex was built to serve the 15th century timber framed farmhouse known as 'The Nunnery' (see MLI96548). All of the 19th century buildings forming the working component of the farmstead (depicted on the 1st and 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey County Series maps), appear to have been demolished in the mid 20th century and have been replaced by a large modern barn. {2}{3}{4}
