Full Description
A polished stone axe and a Roman amphora handle, stamped GA, about A.D.80- 120(?), were turned out during potato spinning in 1957. Initially listed under 'Boston', but the grid reference is to Fishtoft. {1}{2}
The present location of the above finds has not been determined; the informant has now left the county. The area is under plough, and no surface finds were made during perambulation. {3}
