Full Description
Cropmarks of a probable Neolithic mortuary enclosure are visible on aerial photographs, taken of this area to the south-east of Hoe Hill, Swinhope. The enclosure is sub-rectangular in plan, elongated south-south-west by north-north-east and has maximum dimensions measuring 73m by 35m. There is an entrance measuring 3.5m wide in the centre of the southern face. The enclosure is located 120m south-east of Hoe Hill Long Barrow, with which it may be associated (see MLI54203). {1}{2}
