Full Description
Cropmarks of a Bronze Age round barrow and pit are visible on aerial photographs, taken of this area to the east of Fordington House Farm. The barrow has an approximate diameter of 12m, though has been ploughed level so that only the outer circuit of ditch is visible. The pit is located approximately 8m to the north-west and has a diameter of approximately 4m. A palaeochannel runs to the west of the barrow and pit. A second round barrow and pit are located approximately 150m to the north (see MLI127010). {1}{2}
