Full Description

Two storey house constructed of even courses of cut and faced limestone blocks, under a pitched gabled roof of pantiles with two red brick gable stacks. It has a dentil course of red brick at eaves height on the south elevation. The building dates to at least the 1st Edition OS Map in 1887, and is likely earlier. Significant modern alterations include a stone and timber single storey front porch, buff brick two storey rear extension, and the addition of bow windows either side of the porch. The original main range of the house is three bays with a hallway and stairwell in the central bay. The three upper storey windows on the south elevation have flat yellow brick lintels, which may be of 19th century date, though the windows themselves are modern uPVC replacements. The east elevation has two windows, one at ground floor height and one in the eaves, possibly for a garret room. Both of these have segmental arch lintels of red brick headers. {1}{2}
