Full Description

Whilst not included in the detailed programme of historic building recording of the former stable block to the south (see MLI126986), the U-shaped range of outbuildings was briefly described in November 2019. The structure comprises three ranges of buildings around a crewyard open to the south. It appears to be of mid-19th century date, and can be seen on the 1st Edition 25 Inch OS Map of Reston, surveyed in 1888. The building is of red brick, with a two storey North Range and single storey East and West ranges, under a pitched hipped tile roof. The crewyard was enclosed with a corrugated metal roof at some time in the 20th century. {1}{2}{3}
