Full Description
The remains of a probable Neolithic long barrow have been noted as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken of this area to the south of Black Plantation. The cropmarks are faint, but seem to show an incomplete oval-ditched enclosure, aligned on a north-west to south-east axis. The probable barrow has maximum visible dimensions measuring 32m by 16.5m, with a possible break in the ditch circuit to the south. {1}{2}{3}
