Full Description

A two-storey 19th century public house constructed of brick, which has been rendered, with a block plan. The pantile roof has brick chimeny stacks at each gable. The front elevation has a central doorway with a modern porch flanked by two bow casement windows. The first floor front elevation has three casement windows in an irregular arrangement. {1} The public house appears in the 1880s 1st edition Ordnance Survey map with the same name. {2}
