Full Description

Yew Tree Farm, Blyton. Extant 18th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with linked working buildings to all four sides of the yard. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. Located within a loose farmstead cluster. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {1} The First Edition 25 inch OS map (1906) shows areas brace symbols between Yew Tree Farm and an adjacent unnamed farmstead to the east, suggesting the two may have had the same owner at that time. {2}
