Full Description

Originally a beerhouse, thought to have been serving customers since at least 1856, when a John Balding is listed in the village as the brewer. The Victoria Tavern later becomes a public house, when it is licensed in 1869. The building is two storeys high and rectangular in plan. It is constructed of rendered brick and has a pitched pantile roof with gable chimney stacks at both ends. The ground floor central doorway is flanked by two casement windows, whilst on the first floor there are three further casement windows. The main range has a single-storey north-western extension with a pitched pantile roof and a single gable chimney stack. {1}{2}
