Full Description

A late 19th century terrace of houses and commercial units. One of the ground-floor commercial premises was the Square Peg public house. The terrace was three storeys high with a mixture of bay and non-bay windows in the first and second floors. The terrace was constructed of red brick with a hipped slate roof. A fire destroyed The Square Peg in 2008 and following this the terrace was demolished to make way for the 'Grand Central' shopping centre. This was demolished at some point between June 2016 and June 2017 to make way for the Empire bowling alley. {1}{2}{3}
