Full Description

A late 19th century building which was the former Pier Hotel, which was converted into a public house by 2009. The Pier Hotel was constructed in conjuction with Skegness Pier and was probably opened in the same year, 1881. The building was originally four storeys high with an added attic, but was reduced to two storeys after a fire in 1963. The current façade of the building consists of a modern bar front on the ground floor and 9 bay windows with plain bar sashes on the first floor with a flat roof. {1}{2}{3}
