Full Description

Site of a school on High Street, Welbourn, seen on the 1887 and 1905 OS maps of the village. {1}{2} A school is mentioned in White's 1856 Trade Directory, and in 1872 it was attended by 90 children. {3}{4} The school building was demolished in the 20th century and replaced with the current school buildings on the same site.
