Full Description

Former school. Two storey rendered and colourwashed brick building under a pitched gabled tile roof. A small brick extension has been added to the street-facing south elevation. Windows are all uPVC replacements. {1} White's 1856 Trade Directory states that the village had a school, supported by subscription. In 1872 the school was being run as a National School and was attended by 60 pupils. {2}{3} The school was closed in 1980. {4}
