Full Description

Site of a former school. Seen on the 1887 and 1905 OS maps of Leasingham as a single range with several small porches or lean-to extensions. {1}{2} White's 1856 Trade Directory states that the school was built in 1849 by Charles Winn Esq., with contributions from the rector and the lady of the manor. The rector had enlarged it by 1872, when it was attended by 50 pupils. {3}{4} The building was demolished at some point in the 20th century. The current primary school was built on the same site.
