Full Description
Former school. One and a half storey red brick building in English Bond, under a pitched gabled roof of slate. Decorative ridge tiles. Cross-gable has a small bell gable with bell and apparatus in situ. Dogtooth dentil course at eaves height. Red brick buttresses. {1}
White's 1856 Trade Directory states that the school was erected in 1839 by G.H. Packe, Esq. {2}
