Full Description

Former school building. Small single storey colourwashed brick building, under a steeply pitched slate roof. One lateral stack. Significant modern extensions and alterations. {1} White's 1856 Trade Directory states that a school had been recently erected in the village, but gives no further details. {2} The school can be seen on both the 1887 and 1905 OS maps of Stubton. {3}{4} The school was closed in 1971. {5}
