Full Description

Former school. A large red brick building consisting of three parallel ranges, under pitched gabled roofs of slate. Blue brick banding. Large windows with stone sills and lintels. {1} The building was built at some point after the survey for the 1888 OS map of Grantham; at that time the land appears to have been a park or garden, possibly associated with the neighbouring Middlemore House. It is marked as a school on the 1904 OS map. {2}{3}
