Full Description

Former school. T-plan two storey building of coursed stone, under a pitched gabled slate roof. One small brick extension to the front elevation built in the 20th century. {1} White's 1856 Trade Directory states that the school in Skillington was built in 1842-3, and was supported by the land owners of the parish. {2} The school is shown on the 1888 and 1904 OS maps of the village. {3}{4}
