Full Description

A greenstone axe was found at Messrs. Hardy and Collins, High Street, Boston. In 1958 it was presented to the City and County Museum, Lincoln (Acc. no. 4.62), through P. Mayes. The finder indicated the exact findspot at TF 3268 4351. He stated that the axe was found about 15 inches beneath the natural ground level under a cottage during floor reconstruction. {1}{2}{3}{4}
