Full Description

Former school. Single storey red brick building, under a pitched gabled slate roof. Dentil course below eaves. Extensions and alterations were made when the building was converted into a village hall in the mid 1970s. {1} The school cannot be seen on the 1888 OS map of the village, but is visible on the 1904 map. {2}{3} The school was closed at some point before 1973, when it was sold and converted into a village hall. {4}
