Full Description

Site of a former school. The 1904 OS map shows a building in an L-shape plan, with an outbuilding to the rear. {1} White's 1872 Trade Directory states that a school and schoolmaster's house were built in Sutton St James in 1859. The schoolmaster's house may be the red brick building to the west of the school site. {2} The building was demolished at some point in the 20th century and replaced with industrial units.
