Full Description

Former school. Single storey red brick building in English Bond, under a pitched gabled tile roof. The gables are coped in stone. The street-facing cross-gable has a coat of arms with the date '1859' beneath. {1} White's 1872 Trade Directory states that the school was built in 1859 by Lord Aveland. {2} The building is shown in an L-shape plan form on the 1905 OS map of Langtoft. {3}
