Full Description

Former infant school. One and a half storey red brick building in English Bond, under a pitched gabled slate roof. Corners and long elevations are buttressed with brick. Small single storey porch to the west, with bullnose brick and ashlar door surround, under a single pitch slate roof. {1} White's 1872 Trade Directory mentions that Boston East and West Infant Schools were attended by about 320 pupils. It is possible that this is one of those infant schools. {2} Shown as an infant school on both the 1887 and 1905 OS maps of Boston. {3}{4}
