Full Description

19th century school building. Single storey red brick building, under a pitched gabled roof of slate. Bell gable with apparatus, though the bell has been removed. Windows are modern uPVC replacements. There are several modern red brick extensions to the east of the building. {1} White's 1872 Trade Directory states that the school was built by the vicar in 1861, and was at the time attended by around 60 pupils. {2}
