Full Description

Site of a former school seen on the 1905 OS map of Whaplode. White's 1872 Trade Directory states that the school was a 'small but neat' building, and at the time was attended by 24 pupils. The school appears to have been closed in the mid-late 1950s after a new primary school was built in the village with a larger capacity. It was used for some time as a village hall before being demolished and replaced with the current hall. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}
