Full Description

Former school building. One and a half/two storey buff brick building in English Bond, under pitched gabled slate and tile roofs. Windows are modern replacement uPVC, with previous window openings infilled with brick. Gabled porch with infilled door opening. {1} White's 1856 Trade Directory states that a Free School House was granted to the Cowley charity by Edward Brown in 1739. It is unclear if this school house was on this site. {2} It is unclear when the school was closed.
