Full Description

Former school building. Single storey T-plan red brick building, under a pitched gabled slate roof. Dogtooth dentil course at eaves height, small steeply gabled porch on front elevation. Two tall lateral stacks. {1} White's 1856 Trade Directory states that the Free School was originally endowed by William Blisbury in 1715, and was rebuilt in 1830. {2}
