Full Description

The Plough was a late 18th or early 19th century public house that was located on the corner of Boston High Street and St Anne's Lane (now St Anne's Wharf). It was known as Prince Albert Inn from around 1850 to 1869. The building was L-shaped and constructed of rendered brick. The northern, or front, eleveation had three bays with three sliding sash windows to the ground floor and three to the first floor. The two doors to the front elevation were situated to the right of the second and third windows. The Plough would have catered to the local fishing fleet and was probably demolished in the 1960s. {1}
