Full Description

The Mill is an early 20th century two-storey public house constructed of red/brown bricks with a multi-pitched roof. To the ground floor there is a single storey front extension constructed of rendered brick. The public house probably takes its name from a nearby mill known as 'Burton Corner Mill', which was demolished in 1878 along with its bakery. The public house also has converted some of the old stables that belonged to the adjacent, and now-demolished, Burton Cottage. {1}
