Full Description

School buildings dating to the 19th century. Two storey red brick building seen on the 1905 OS map of Wrangle in a cruciform plan. Since significantly altered and expanded. It is unclear how much of the original building remains extant. {1}{2} White's 1856 Trade Directory states that from 1555 Thomas Alenson had provided for a schoolmaster to teach children from Wrangle and Leake parishes. The school had around 60 pupils in 1856. {3}
