Full Description

Site of a Free School. White's 1856 Trade Directory mentions that the school was founded in 1818 for the education of up to 100 pupils of both sexes. A house and garden are mentioned as supplied for the use of the teacher; this may be the extant two storey brick house to the east of the former school site. The school is shown on the 1905 OS map of Frampton as an L-plan structure. {1}{2}
