Full Description
19th century school building. One and a half storey red brick building in L-shape plan form, under a pitched gabled roof of slate. The building consists of an east-west aligned range with a north-south aligned cross-wing. Yellow brick window surrounds and quoins. {1}
White's 1856 Trade Directory states that the National School in Huttoft was built in 1840. The 1872 Trade Directory notes that the attendance at the time was around 90 pupils. {2}
