Full Description

A former coach house built between 1860-1861. Two storey cross-wing L-plan red brick building in mixed bonds, though primarily English Bond, under a pitched gabled slate roof. Neo-Tudor diamond patterned blue brick diapering on each elevation, and on the exterior face of the pillared courtyard wall. The building comprises a main range, aligned north-south and originally used as the coach house, and a bonded cross-wing aligned east-west originally used as a stable block. Internally, the building has undergone significant change in the late 20th century and few original features are visible, though some (like the original concrete floor of the stable block) remain extant and are merely hidden by modern alternations. {1}{2}
