Full Description
Mrs Abbot's Cottage was a two-storey building constructed of masonry with a white render. It dates to at least 1880 as it appears on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey Map. In 2020 the timber roof had pantiles to the south elevation and asbestos cement tiles to the north elevation. The building appears to have been in poor condition since at least 2002. The building was demolished in 2020 and a new clasroom was built on the site for The Thomas Cowley High School in Donington. {1}
