Full Description

19th century school building. One and a half storey buff brick building in English Garden Wall Bond, under a pitched gabled roof of slate. Modern classroom buildings have been added in the 21st century. {1} White's 1856 Trade Directory states that a Free School was founded in Stickney in 1678 by a William Lovell. It is unclear whether the original school was built on the same site as the current school. White mentions a schoolmaster's house, which may be the house to the south of the school buildings. {2}
