A public house dating possibly to at least the late 19th century. The public house was anotated as White Hart Inn in the first edition Ordnance Survey map, dating to 1886. The plan of the White Hart has changed since then, when it had three distinct and separate buildings with different plans. The westernmost of these was demolished at some point in the second half of the 20th century and part of the northernmost building, with what remained of this one and the southern building being joined up to form one building with different construction phases. {1}{2}
