Full Description

Former school. Two storey cross plan red brick building, under a pitched gabled roof. The building appears to have undergone some alteration in the 20th century, with at least one single storey brick extension. {1}{2} A National School was built on the site in around 1810, but was demolished and replaced by the current building in 1861. By 1872 the school was attended by 30 children from the parishes of Sausthorpe and Aswardby. {3}
